KUALA LUMPUR: Pakistani cueist Hamza Akbar Thursday defeated India's commended snookerist Punkaj Advani to win the 31st ACBS Snooker Championship Kuala Lumpur, Samaa reported. Before pounding Advani by 7-6 in the last, Akbar demolished Malaysian Mohammad Reza 6-2 to book a billet in last of the competition on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old is a two-time national champion.
